The liquids that enter RASA through the aqueduct, or are transported by trucks from those companies that are not yet connected to the network, are treated anaerobically in a first tank and then receive aerobic treatment through the injection of oxygen. This is achieved through the installation of 16 surface aerators that work 24 hours a day, oxidizing the organic matter present in the industrial fishing effluent, so that once treated it can be disposed of in a final disposal basin for later reuse. Today there is an installed treatment capacity of 1000m3/day of effluent and the possibility of entering industrial liquids by joining the collection network or through trucks enabled for such purposes.
