Our Patagonian steppe bees face two major challenges, and we help them overcome them💪💪
During the winter, they must withstand severe frosts with no shelter other than their own hives. To protect them, we cover them with membranes that create an air pocket, helping to maintain a suitable temperature inside 🥶🥶🥶
We also replaced the old tables—which had thick legs made from recycled containers—with iron stands featuring slender legs. It is a simple modification that makes it harder for ants to get into the hives 🐜🐜🐜
In return, they are already venturing out in search of the first native flowers, kicking off a new production cycle on the steppe 🧡🧡🐝🐝
